Darby Leigh Stanchfield is an actress from the United States. She was born on April 29, 1971. Her most famous role is that of Abby Whelan in the ABC political drama series Scandal (2012–2018). Stanchfield is well noted for her appearances as April Green in CBS’ post-apocalyptic thriller Jericho (2006–07) and Helen Bishop in AMC’s period drama Mad Men (2007–08).
